Uploading Files using Windows XP
1) Double Click on the 'My Networks' icon found on the desktop
2) Click on 'Add a network place' found under Network tasks on the left which will launch the 'Add Network Place Wizard'
3) On the 'Add Network Place Wizard', click Next
4) Select 'Choose another network location' and click 'Next'
5) You will then be prompted to provide the 'Internet or network address'. Enter ftp://ftp.banburylitho.co.uk and click 'Next'
6) On the next screen, uncheck the checkbox entitled 'Log on anonymously'. This will activate the 'User name' field. Enter the username that was provided to you by Banbury Litho and click 'Next'
7) Enter a name for this connection. This is a descriptive name only to help you find it in the future. We recommend leaving it as the default which is ftp.banburylitho.co.uk. Click 'Next' to continue.
8) You have now almost completed the 'Add Network Place Wizard'. Check the 'Open this network place when I click Finish' checkbox and then click 'Finish'.
9) Within a few seconds, you should be prompted to enter your password. Enter the password that was sent out to you. Ensure you click the 'Save password' checkbox to save having to enter it again. Click 'Log on'.
10) This should launch a new window with a title of ftp://ftp.banburylitho.co.uk/. To upload files into this directory you can either copy the file through Windows Explorer and then paste into the new window or alternatively, drag the files into the window. Windows will then Copy the file across and should provide an estimate of the time it will take.
11) Once the file has been copied, please advise Banbury Litho that a new file is available.
