Whether creating or uploading artwork, these guides are here to assist you with getting your artwork to us.

Supplying artwork

Whether you are supplying artwork directly, or via an agency, please use these reference guides in order to ensure compatibility with our working systems. The files are in Acrobat PDF format.

Uploading Files

The following guides explain how to upload artwork files via FTP (File Transfer Protocal) to our system for projects that we are producing. See below for detailed instructions for Windows and Mac OS X users.

Please note: There is a 1GB upload limit and all font folders must be zipped before upload. Please notify Banbury Litho before and after uploading any files.

Mac OS X

Unfortunately, Apple Macs are unable to upload files direct without third party software (referred to as an FTP Client). Therefore you will need to download and install an FTP client.

We can recommend a free FTP client for Apple Macs called CyberDuck. Download information is available from their site http://cyberduck.ch/

The rest of this guide assumes you have installed CyberDuck.

  1. Launch Cyberduck
  2. Click on the 'Open Connection' button & fill in the fields using the login information sent to you. If you want the password to be remembered, please check the 'Add To Keychain' checkbox.
  3. Once connected, the FTP directory will be listed
  4. Drag & drop files to, or from the directories shown in Cyberduck

Once the file has been uploaded, please advise Banbury Litho that a new file is available.

Windows Vista
& Windows 7

  1. Click this link ftp://ftp.banburylitho.co.uk.
  2. Within a few seconds, you will be prompted to enter your username and password. Enter the details that were sent out to you from Banbury Litho. Ensure you click the 'Save password' checkbox to save having to enter it again. Click 'Okay'.
  3. This will open the FTP access page. To upload files into this directory you can either copy the file through Windows Explorer and then paste into the new window or alternatively, drag the files into the window. Windows will then Copy the file across and will provide an estimate of the time it will take.

Once the file has been copied, please advise Banbury Litho that a new file is available.

Please note: There is a 1GB upload limit and all font folders must be zipped before upload. Please notify Banbury Litho before and after uploading any files.
